For most of the match we fought on equal terms, but Anwil took advantage of our mistakes in the end and won.
We started well, losing to the hosts by two points in the first quarter. In the second, we tried to catch up with Anwil, who had lost to us by five points. Consistent defense and an accurate three-pointer by Alan Czujkowski meant that after 20 minutes we tied 33-33.
After the break, the game was equal again, and at one point we even jumped by 4 points. Anwil did not give up, however, and thanks to the good play of Luke Petrasek and Victor Sanders, they took a three-point lead. This meant that in the last quarter we had to chase the result again.
Anwil quickly increased its advantage and consistently maintained it until the end of the match. Ultimately, the hosts triumphed in the Hall of Champions, winning 78-66.
