About the Wild Boars
Our history
Dziki were founded quite recently, in 2017, on the basis of the 3rd league MKS MOS Ochota. In the first season in the 2nd league we fought to stay in the league. A year later we advanced to the playoff phase, and in 2020 we took first place in the competition and gained promotion to the Suzuki 1st league.
Our debut season on the 1st league pitches was a great experience. We finished eleventh and learned a lot.
A year later we advanced to the playoffs for the first time. In it we fought with Sokół Łańcut, the later winner of the competition.
This valuable lesson allowed us to set a goal for the 2022/23 season, which was promotion to the Energa Basket Liga.
As we said, so we did! We built a team that was based on top league experience. Everything was led by a coach in whom we gave full trust.
In the regular round we took second place, and in the playoff final we defeated Górnik Wałbrzych 3-0. This meant that Dziki would play in the PLK for the first time in their history!
The debut season in the Orlen Basket League was a big challenge for our organization. We took 10th place in the table, and the playoffs were really close - we were one win short. We finished the 2023/24 season with a balance of 16 wins and 14 losses.
Now, Dziki face a new challenge. In the 2024/25 season, we will play in the Orlen Basket League and the European regional league, ENBL. We have strengthened the team and organizational structure to successfully compete with the best teams in the league. We don't know yet what the upcoming season will bring us. We do know that it will be wild - as always!
What makes us stand out
Dziki is created by professionals in their fields, with a huge passion for sports. There are no "activists" or "rulers" here. There are professional managers, communication specialists and people with a vision. Our strong point is characteristic, coherent and professionally designed communication. We attach great importance to elements that others often consider of little importance - uniforms, communication with fans or implementation of technological innovations.
Where are we going
One of the elements of our long-term strategy was promotion to the basketball top league. Since we have already achieved this stage, we can focus on fighting for the European cups. We would like to have the opportunity to present Warsaw fans of sports and entertainment, basketball at the highest European level.
In parallel to achieving our sporting goals, we are building a committed and loyal community that stays with our pack through thick and thin.
